Creators of quality design and craftsmanship, The Meehan Development Group is a family based business that began in Farmington, CT and expanded over the years to the shoreline of CT and RI. We bring a blend of skill, experience, and dedication coupled with innovative technology and a partnership with our clients that continues long after the project is completed.

We work with our clients with transparency of cost – we have a set/fixed rate of 15% that once established does not change. We will commit to having a preliminary budget to you within one week of our initial meeting after which time if you think we would be a good match we will supply references & house tours while we work with you to fine tune that budget within a one month.

Meehan Development

Our accounting is totally transparent invoices presented & approved by our clients prior to issuing payments. We do not mark-up trades, products or suppliers. With a fixed budget for project with management you get a builder who is concerned with getting you the best bang for your buck.

Accounting Transparency

Meehan design & development is a seamless approach where the design process keeps the budget tuned with the design where there is less opportunity for a surprise.

Design & Development

We initiate end of week meetings where we’ll email the agenda the night prior and go over the schedule, selections needed, accounting and anything else. After the meeting, there will be a follow-up email to the team outlining who needs to do what. Every Monday morning, you’ll receive another email outlining progress expectations for that week.

Communication Is Key

We do not give our clients a bid or a fixed price, all this does is pit the builder & client against one another, it would be in the builders best interest to build as cheaply as possible and that’s not what you want. We’ll get competitive bids from our trades and the suppliers, but the heavy liftng will be done by our talented carpenters is by the hour where it’s fair to us and typically less expensive for you.
